The benefits of coaching and counselling for students or academics

Students and academics face a unique set of challenges in their working environment. Transitioning to university life can be challenging for even the highest achieving students. As well as this, issues such as personal or health issues, access to resources, study strategies, time management and motivation can negatively affect academic performance.

The goal of academic coaching and counselling is to allow you the client (a student or academic) to become more self-aware by better understanding your strengths, values, interests, purpose, and passion. As a coach, I will challenge you to think about your personal and/or professional goals in order to relate them to your academic or educational goals. We will work together to identify any roadblocks to academic success and give you the necessary resources to overcome those hurdles.
